In all, WINE 8.10 has introduced 274 changes from the v8.9. What they have considered worth noting has been that all PE ->Unix transitions go through the syscall interface, improvements in mouse cursor clipping, support for virtual memory reservation and updated languages and zone data. hours, to which is added the usual point of various corrections. Bugs fixed in WINE 8.10
- Several applications that support isolation fail to load (MSN Messenger Live 2009, Lync 2010, Adobe Premiere Pro CS3, Quicken 201X) (embedded PE manifest lookup should support ISOLATIONAWARE_MANIFEST_RESOURCE_ID).
- uTorrent 2.2.0 hangs on startup (FD_WRITE event is reported over and over again in WSAEnumNetworkEvents for a bound UDP socket).
- I believe Elements/Direct Modeling Express 4.0/6.0 loader failure due to missing msvcrt.dll dependency (native netapi32.dll imports msvcrt functions).
- Cygwin's mintty.exe crashes with a stack overflow.
- TwitchTest crashes because the IPHLPAPI.DLL.GetPerTcpConnectionEStats function is not implemented.
- Animated Puzzles crashes on startup.
- Checkmarks for checkboxes in .NET 3.5 should be black instead of the Foreground color.
- Honeygain crashes because the IPHLPAPI.DLL.GetCurrentThreadCompartmentId function is not implemented.
- PmxEditor 0.2.7.5 does not start after WINE 8.4.
- ntdll: NtDuplicateToken has an incorrect prototype.
- user32:msg receives an extra WM_NCPAINT in ShowWindow(child, SW_SHOW).
- The Chinese IME no longer works on Naver LINE since WINE 8.9.
- wininet:http – test_secure_connection() fails on Windows and WINE.
