A week ago o de PineLoader. It is a software that allows dual boot, or more specifically "multi-boot", on Linux-based mobile terminals. This weekend we had two more news about it: the first told us about a new (future) tablet that will run Linux operating system, called pinetab, and the second came in the form of a demonstration video in which we can see the software working.
How could it be otherwise, or rather, where better to do the demonstration than on a PinePhone? Danct12 was the one who posted the video on the social network Twitter. In it, in just over three minutes, we see a PinePhone starting with something like a GRUB in which 4 operating systems shown, among which first choose and enter postmarketOS and then Sailfish OS, both working as expected and reminding us a bit of the dual / multi-boot that we would do on any PC with desktop operating systems.
PineLoader allows us to load several mobile operating systems in the same terminal

Taking into account the price of the terminals Pine64, the existence of PineLoader is very interesting news. Many users would like to be able to try , operating systems like Ubuntu Touch, but postmartketOS also looks very cool and there are other options like the Sailfish OS shown in the video. In addition, there are also options that we have probably never heard of, such as the Huang Tram Linux that also appears in the video and that most of the searches we can do on Google. they're taking us to information about PineLoader.
In any case and although everything looks very good, we have to bear in mind that most projects, both operating systems, software and terminals, taking its first steps, so we have to be patient if we want to forget about iOS and Android.
