New update of the most popular free office suite, and the main choice for Linux users. The Document Foundation just made official the launch of LibreOffice 7.5.4, the fourth maintenance update of a 7.5 that had among its most outstanding novelties a enhanced dark mode. Although it should no longer be necessary, remember that what motivates the news is the community edition or Community, which is the name that the normal and free option has received for months.
Among its novelties we find a total of 83 patches, 79 introduced in the RC1 and 4 in the RC2. LibreOffice 7.5.4 can be installed on almost any device, since it is available for Windows, macOS, Linux, ChromeOS and there is even a version for iOS and Android, although it is maintained by Collabora.

Other than the list of applied patches coming from Release Candidates 1 and 2, The Document Foundation hasn't given many details about this release. In his note he insisted on what we explained at the beginning of the post, which is the Community edition and that there is another Enterprise for companies. The differences are that the community edition is supported by volunteers and the business edition is supported by TDF directly. In addition to receiving direct support, the latter can even request functions on demand, a theory that I have not been able to verify since I have never been a subscriber.
