LibreOffice 7.5.2, now available the second point update with almost 100 fixes

LibreOffice 7.5.2

After first version of this series which introduced new functions, and the second, first point, which began to correct errors, The Document Foundation launched us LibreOffice 7.5.2. The visible changes, that is, these new functions arrive when the first decimal changes, and LO 7.5 introduced, for example, improvements in the dark theme, which now allows you to put the dark sheet with white text, among other things, such as new icons They look better on Linux too.

LibreOffice 7.5.2 has fixed 96 bugs, collected in the RC1 y RC2. The first "candidate" is the one where more patches are added, and with the second the final form is given, which is the one we already have available. In the release note, The Document Foundation talks mostly about what's new they introduced with v7.5.0 of their office suite, then timidly talks about v7.5.2 to say it's out now and reminds us of the minimum requirements.

LibreOffice 7.5.2 continues to support Windows 7

It is surprising that already in 2023 there is software that still supports Windows 7, but the latest version of LibreOffice does. I find it curious, because I recently passed a python app compiled with PyInstaller and it told me that it couldn't run on Win7, probably because of the lack of this support. Minimum requirements mention Windows 7 SP1, macOS 10.14 and link to the mobile version. Nothing is said about Linux, partly because it works on practically all distros.

LibreOffice 7.5.2 can now be downloaded since official website. This is the newest version, the one in its "fresh" branch, and it is still not recommended for production teams. If you're looking for more stability, the company also offers LibreOffice 7.4.6, which some refer to as the "LTS" version. In Linux, this version is known as "still", something like "restrained". 7.5 will not be recommended for production teams until at least three more point updates are released.
