A day ago we have known the official announcement of the new stable version of Fedora, the corresponding version is called Fedora 26. This distribution is based on the RedHat Linux project, however it is an open project recognized by RedHat itself.
Fedora 26 is a new and latest version according to customary development. From now on, that is, as of Fedora 27, the development of Fedora will be very different so far. But what does Fedora 26 bring back?
Fedora 26 comes with quite a few new features. Starting with the number of official versions and flavors. Fedora 26 Labs has a new spin called Fedora 26 LXQT. A Fedora 26 Workstation and Fedora 26 Server Fedora 26 Atomic Host is added.
Anaconda, the installer for the distribution, has also changed. The installer has changed the partitioning tool, including a partitioning tool similar to the one that Calamares or Ubuntu has, being easier and simpler for the user. Together with the new partitioning tool, Anaconda allows the possibility of modifying the management of users and groups, allowing the user to enter the id.
The DNF tool, an important distribution tool, reaches version 2.5 with great improvements, especially in relation to cache management. Along with DNF, GCC reaches version 7 and Python reaches version 3.6. Python Classroom is the spin that comes new to the Fedora family and is focused on teaching programming to the educational world. Fedora ARM also attracts attention although it is nothing new. This Fedora spin will be ideal for Raspberry Pi users.
Fedora 26 is available through the official website of the Fedora Project. And if you already have Fedora on your team, you can update it with the update tools or with this simple tutorial. Fedora 26 is the latest version of a major distribution in the Gnu / Linux world. A version that showcases the best of RedHat but backed by a great community. If you are looking for a distribution, Fedora is worth a try.

We're doing fine, however, I'm having trouble running Windows programs with Wine. In Fedora 24 they do run, but in Fedora 26 they don't. Also Wine does not appear in Software as installed, however I do see it on the desktop. Can you help me?
I've been trying to install Fedora 26 alongside windows for days and F26 just doesn't work. Both in live image from USB and from the hard disk it stops, just sliding the mouse (I am not saying open something) and it stops continuously.
I use fedora on a server and on a laptop and the truth is, very good distribution, the bad thing is that it is updated every 6 months and it is not in Rolling Release mode from there on out highly recommended
It is always up to date with software updates and has a very good management of computer resources, I highly recommend it
Since I started using fedora I have liked it a lot… and I found the typical programs that I use for fedora and I haven't had any problems… and I only use windows to play games…
