After a few years of development and trial and error, A new total conversion mod has been released for Doom II titled Total Chaos.
And yes, it is epic. Running as a port of GZDoom, the game takes you to an abandoned coal mining community on an island called Fort Oasis.
Total Chaos is a horror survival game that takes place on a remote island known as Fort Oasis.
The island was already managed by a community of coal miners who one day suddenly disappeared, leaving behind an abandoned concrete jungle.
I mean, something clearly went very wrong with this place.
After their arrival at Fort Oasis, they receive a strange radio transmission. Someone wants to be found.
You must survive in 6 chapters, against more than 8 horrifying demons with a variety of weapons.
Total Chaos is a total conversion mod for Doom 2. The mod introduces many new graphical features, including high-resolution 3D models and textures.
According to the wadaholic developer:
"The player has the freedom to choose whether to find the lost community, survive on his own against the deadly forces of the islands, or explore Fort Oasis to discover its deepest secrets."
Total Chaos features six chapters, eight enemy types, and a ton of weapons.
In classic survival horror fashion, ammo is somewhat in short supply. You'll need to get up close and personal with tires, picks, shivs, and "garden tools," all of which can improve as you progress through the game.
