Each best ultrabooks with GNU / Linux pre-installed from the market have been updated. Slimbook brings 10th Generation Intel microprocessors to your PROX notebooks. You may already know that Intel has recently released the first "batch" of XNUMXth-generation chips after spending several years developing the microarchitecture and several months building it in the foundry. Slimbook bought them freshly warm to put on their laptops.

With the 10th Gen, the new Intel Core i7 and Core i5 (Comet Lake) will also reach other models. Not only can you enjoy them in the Slimbook PROX, also in the PRO BASE, both the 14 and 15 ″ version. That, together with the new Linux 5.x kernels that can make the most of them, will mean a big step in the performance of these teams with more clock frequency and the improvements in the microarchitecture that bring a better IPC of these chips associated with them.

The PROX chip will now be the Intel Core i7-10510U arrives with 4 cores, each one with the possibility of executing two threads thanks to HT technology, for a total of 8 threads. In addition, it includes 8MB of what Intel calls Smart Cache, and frequencies of 1.8 Ghz base, up to 4.9 Ghz with Turbo Boost. The rest of the laptop's hardware will remain the same, including the autonomy promised by the Spanish firm.

As for the PRO BASE, you will now have the renewed as your brain Core i5-10210U and Core i5-10510U. In addition, you should know that these teams already have stock, so you can order them from now to arrive before this Christmas.

By the way, of which no stock is still from PROX. Don't worry though, because it will arrive in a few weeks. However, if you have already ordered a PROX before and it has not yet passed to the assembly phase, the equipment you are going to receive will also have the 10th Gen chip at no additional cost.
