postmarketOS v23.06 arrives with GNOME Mobile 44 as the main novelty

postmarket OS v23.06

Although for a long time the version of GNOME for mobiles has been Phosh, the truth is that it is an unofficial project. It is based on GNOME, but is not from Project GNOME. The team of developers behind the desk that use operating systems such as Ubuntu, Fedora or Debian is also working on its mobile proposal, and it is already available on the postmarket OS v23.06 which has been launched a few moments ago.

This operating system, which is one of the most popular among mobile devices powered by Linux, with the permission of Android, is available in different editions or with different graphical environments. The most popular is the aforementioned Phosh, but it is also available in Plasma and Sxmo. As of postmarketOS v23.06 it will also be on the official GNOME version, but for the moment in a preliminary version.
