PDF Mix Tool 1.0: the new version of this practical tool is out

PDF Mix Tool

PDF Mix Tool It is not a new tool, however, now the stable version 1.0 of this fantastic program for working with PDF has been released. Among the most outstanding novelties of this release are the improvements in its graphical interface, the possibility of editing metadata of the PDF document and the compatibility with the Qt6 library.

With this practical tool you can manipulate PDF files at your whim. From common editing operations in a PDF, to extracting, deleting, or rotating document pages, combining several PDFs into one, adding empty pages, changing the layout of a page (size, orientation, number of rows and columns, margins, etc.), add forms, modify metadata, etc.

PDF Mix Tool can do all of this thanks to use of QPDF, and now with this release you will be able to work in a more intuitive and simple way. There will no longer be tabs for single and multiple files. The sidebar now includes all available operations in view, each with its icon, to make it easier to locate them.

PDF Arranger is an alternative to PDF Mix Tool, only it uses GTK and pikepdf instead of QPDF.

Another important change in this version v1.0 of PDF Mix Tool is the ability to edit metadata. You can change the title, author, subject, keywords, creator, producer, and the date of creation and modification. There is also another improvement, and that is that it will try to preserve the links, annotations and diagrams where possible.

Qt6 support has also been added, in addition to some error correction that was in the previous versions.
