Just over 24 hours ago, the developer team behind this popular Arch Linux-based distribution announced the release of a new stable version. It is a system with a Rolling Release development model, which means that it is installed once and updates are received for life, and also that they launch two options: all the new packages as updates for existing users and what this time it was manjaro 21.0.7 for zero installations.
It is not the first time a new version has been announced before it reaches my team, which is probably explained with a gradual release so as not to crash the servers. - Most of the kernels have been updated, the most modern stable version being Linux 5.12.9-1-Manjaro.
- Systemd is now at 248.3 15. They emphasize that this series does not start linux49 or linux419.
- Gnome Apps has been updated to 40.2, but the GNOME edition remains with 3.38 in the Shell.
- Cutefish DE has been updated to v0.2.
- Pipewire is at 0.3.30.
- Deepin has some new updates.
- Other regular updates, including python and haskell
With the above explained, there is a problem that may exist for existing users that is fixed updating from Pamac and accepting the changes that you suggest. Other things that can be done is to manually remove the packages that conflict with the new ones and try to upgrade again or use an older kernel, but keeping in mind what is mentioned in the list of new features above.

I installed Manjaro on a desktop computer that I had just bought and was fascinated, it is a marvel, and I love the terminal with perfectly tuned zsh and integrated into the main theme. It also consumes very few resources. The computer just starts up, it only occupies 800 megabytes of memory, compared to 1.3 or 1.5 of Ubuntu (Gnome environment).
However, joy in a well. It just gave me trouble. The system froze every 2 × 3. I tried reinstalling, adjusting the systemctl errors (there were errors), etc. A disaster, I was even about to return the computer. I installed Fedora and until today without any problem.
A shame; like I said, Manjaro is a beauty.
