Month and a half after previous update knitted, The Document Foundation announced this afternoon the launch of LibreOffice 7.1.6. This could be the last maintenance update for the 7.1 series, although they could also release more in the future if they discover a major bug or a security flaw that needs to be fixed. At this time, TDF continues to recommend this series for production equipment, and the reason is that it is much more polished than the 7.2.
In total, in LibreOffice 7.1.6 44 bugs fixed that will make everything more reliable, few compared to other releases, but understandable for being a sixth point update. The changes are listed in the links on the first (40) and second RC (4) of 7.1.6, although this time they haven't mentioned anything about improving compatibility with Microsoft Office.
