This striking wallpaper along with new icons is the main novelty of Plasma 5.4

KDE has always been characterized by continuous innovations within the GNU / Linux operating systems, a company that in recent years is taking the performance and aesthetics of Linux distributions to a new level.

One of its recent changes was the Plasma graphical interface, which gave a look fabulous to our desktop. How could it be otherwise? Plasma undergoes continuous updates and the last of all is the addition of a new artwork including a pretty eye-catching wallpaper and icon set In addition, KDE has announced that version 5.4 of Plasma will bring new artworks and new icons that will be added over time

The other important news is that KDE is preparing a brand new internet browser called Fiber This browser, although still under development, is a browser that looks excellent in terms of performance and design. Although to this day not many details are known about it, we have been able to know that Fiber is a modular type browserIn other words, the functions will be added to suit the user by installing modules in the browser, which means that you can configure the browser completely to your liking.

In my humble opinion, KDE is making pretty good moves In the world of GNU / Linux distributions, the plasma interface looks much more attractive than what Linux has gotten us used to over the years, which is also compatible with quite a few distributions including the famous Kubuntu and I see correct that wallpapers are added to increase customization. In addition, the inclusion of a modular browser, if it works correctly and the modules allow the browser to fulfill all the required functions, it can be an excellent option since customization allows you to configure the browser only with what you are actually going to use.

Plasma 5 (which is not called kde) has notable bugs:
    1) If the proprietary drivers of the cards are not placed, it is spoiled by adding graphic effects.
    2) The gadgets (in kde4 they are called plasmoids) that monitor the system fire up systemd and make ram and cpu work like crazy.
These two bugs I noticed in Kubuntu and KaOs
Furthermore, the desktops (one of the few and real differences that kde4 had with respect to the other DEs) are not customizable in plasma 5, that is, now: desk 1 = desk 2 =… = desk n; therefore, they are no longer desks, they are work areas as in other environments.
So, for the moment I will stay with KDE4 (for something it was the best DE of 2014) using linux mint until they decide to go to plasma 5

We were few and kde gave birth to another browser. I wish it as much success as the Konqueror, the Cupzilla and I can't forget my favorite (when uninstalling it) Rekonq "buggy buggy" for friends.

On my pc the network card configuration suddenly disappeared and I was left in the air so I was left with Ubuntu 15 which did not give me any problem.
