The GTK + version of KDE Connect has recently been updated. KDE Connect Indicator has been recently updated to version 0.9.0 so that from now on users will be able to send files to different devices connected to the computer.
KDE Connect is a very useful KDE application to connect our computer with our Android mobile. KDE Connect Indicator is the version of this same program for environments with GTK + libraries in such a way that the user does not have to install all the KDE libraries for the program to work.
This has been well received by the Community, but in return some functions had to be sacrificed and elements that you have in the original version but you don't have in the GTK + version. Multiple file submission is one of those things that didn't exist in the GTK + version and is now available.
KDE Connect Indicator integrates with the desktop and with the Nautilus file manager

In the official repository we can find the installation files such as packages in deb or rpm format, as well as an unofficial repository from which to install the new version of KDE Connect Indicator.
Actually this applet or mini-program is very interesting, but If we really need to use a computer and a mobile phone, it is best to opt for KDE Connect and Plasma as a desktop. This combination will allow us to use Gnu / Linux but we will also have more functions than the GTK + version and for the same price.
