Wp-admin directory is the key
The wp-admin directory is the most important directory in a WordPress installation, as it contains the content manager administration files. In fact, this is one of the three folders that come by default in WordPress: wp-admin, wp-includes, and wp-content. Furthermore, this folder, which contains internal static files (libraries and scripts) and no configuration files, is necessary to access the WordPress administration panel. During the content manager installation, the wp-admin folder is in charge of defining the page where we must enter our username and password. For this reason, to login to WordPress it is necessary to put the address of the web page in the browser adding "/ wp-admin" at the end.
WordPress wp-admin access problem may be related to modifying or removing this directory, something that cannot be done.
