In fact, we have now learned that the Bristol Ridge APU on which the project was based, now it will be updated.
The new processor that it will integrate will be based on the current AMD Ryzen, in order to have a more versatile processing unit. That also means that the APU's integrated graphics will move from the Radeon R7 of the previous APU to the Radeon Vega of the new AMD APU. The bad news is that it seems that the final product is going to be delayed in its delivery and now they are date what would be the end of 2019. A delay justified that in principle it is caused by this new update.
