Valve gets another developer for graphics drivers

The driver AMD RADV it is one of the drivers included in the famous MESA open source project. In this case, it is a driver for the powerful Vulkan graphics API that is being used by many of the most powerful modern titles. Well, now there is good news from Valve's side, as it continues to improve the entire graphical Linux ecosystem.

Now it does so with a new addition, since they have managed to make the developer Tony wasserka join the team to put all your experience as a programmer into improving the graphical world on Linux. He had worked on major projects before when working for Imagination Technologies.

In that company he was involved in the project related to Vulkan drivers also. So you know very well what you have in hand with this new challenge. Specifically, it was the driver for PowerVR GPUs for ARM-based chips. In addition to that, he also helped on the Crita emulator for Nintendo 3DS, as a contributor on the GameCube, and on the Dolphin emulator for Wii. It has even also been related in the past with some contributions to the WINE project to improve this compatibility layer.

For all that, it can be said that knows the code well and the Linux graphics stack, so it will do a great job with the open source AMD RADV drivers for AMD GPUs with Vulkan and which are part of the MESA drivers.

I hope the good news continues for everyone. These are small steps that, added together, will be giant steps in the future. In fact, who would have thought a few decades ago that the gaming world in Linux He would get to where he has reached today ... If you traveled back in time and told him this, they would laugh for sure. But instead things change ...

I like to read what is written in English in English and what is written in Spanish in Spanish, but you don't mix. Forgive my weirdness

driver, in Spanish it is CONTROLLER
world gaming in Castilian is about games or "gamers"

PS: And it is not the case but as it is a common error, I take the opportunity to note it, library is translated by LIBRARY not by library.
