Selaco: an FPS for those who filmed with FEAR

selaco

selaco is an FPS (First Person Shooter) title, that is, a first-person shooter like so many other titles. But this demo coming soon. And it will do so with nostalgia, since it is a video game that is inspired by FEAR, one of the most popular games of a few years ago for Windows and that many were hooked on it because of its game dynamics, its graphics, and those scares of the so much was said...

Selaco will be similar to FEAR but, unlike this other one, it will arrive as multiplatform, among the supported systems also Linux. It will arrive powered by GZDoom and the demo will be ready soon for you to try the experience it can offer. With fantastic scenarios full of action, destructibility, and a very intelligent AI that will make it difficult for you, as well as a story developed to be as immersive as possible.

The action scenarios will remind you of FEAR, while also adding some traditional retro elements that will will remember DOOM and QUAKE, along with some other totally modern and genuine Selaco features.

Professional artists (who participated in very famous projects in the gaming industry in the past) work on this project which they have named Selaco to make this mixture of action and mystery.

Recently the developer presented an updated version with a preview, showing the fantastic aspect that it looks like in its current state, that we remember that it is not a final version, but a demo to try. The demo cannot be downloaded yet, but it is planned to coming to Steam in June this year, closing sponsorships on the Patreon platform on April 22.

  • *Note: here I leave the link to Valve's Steam, although it is not yet the release date. But that way, when the time comes you can try Selaco.

Well they didn't screw up, if anything they freaked out, but with this one we're going to freak out quite a bit because it's not in Spanish and the other one was and that's why we freaked out, there's a huge difference.
