Project Zomboid: the zombie survival video game has an expansion for its map

Project Zomboid is another of the videogames that you can find in the steam store and also in other stores such as the famous GOG. As you know, the video game is available for both Windows and MacOS and also for GNU / Linux, so we can use it and enjoy it on different platforms. It is a survival video game with zombies as the main characters. Living monsters will make your life somewhat more complicated and you will have to defend yourself against these pests playing alone or in multiplayer to further expand the game's capabilities.

It has been in development for a long time, now we can play with it and now it offers us more possibilities with a new version that adds new vehicles, a map expansion, etc. News that are appreciated for the already juicy title PZ. By the way, although the Linux icon does not appear in the Valve Steam store, the version is there and it is functional. I don't know exactly why they haven't added the penguin icon, but it is available. I have also seen that it is not the only game with which this has happened. On the other hand, in the GOG online store there is the icon ...

The latest update we are talking about is Build 38 with a huge map to explore, size review, new types of vehicles, more available buildings, new graphics and architecture elements, etc. The increase in size is quite massive, with a fairly significant extension compared to the previous map. Zombie movement and location data has also been optimized for multiplayer, helping server lag. Of course there are also thousands of new options for when playing solo.

If you are interested, you already know that you can find it in the famous stores already mentioned from where you can buy and download it. Furthermore, in its Official site you can get the complete changelog with all the changes introduced in the new update. So enjoy while the new update comes out, which will also include interesting improvements!

The game graphically and in terms of history, it seems to be fine, but (at least in the version that I have played), there is no human way to close the inventory once opened (taking your vision off the screen), once you take the shotgun , he refuses to use another weapon and you find that, for example, you have a wonderful hunting knife and you cannot use it, because he does not release the shotgun from his nose.
When they polish details like that, maybe I would encourage myself to try again, while I prefer other much better options (at least for my taste) such as the "Dead Island" saga that you have to defend yourself by improvising weapons, looking for food and drink ... But without complicated inventories, and being able to change weapons without problem.
If you like it, I'm happy for you, personally it seems like a "could have been" and it has become "what a mess", not because of the game itself, but because they have complicated something that should have been simple. For example, inventory appears and is hidden with the "i" key. Well, no, it appears on the screen and you hold on, that you are no longer going to remove it even with a miracle. And the thing about the shotgun ... Well, that's firework, that you can't change weapons automatically when the shotgun's ammunition runs out or with another key ... And they call the game realistic ... Of course, in a zombie apocalypse, if you have a shotgun without ammunition, you cling to it, even if you have no ammunition left, and you do not take an ax, a knife…. From 1 to 10, I give it a 3 and I am very generous
