Another change that stands out is the new “out of office setup” between applications which is reflected in the chat (by sending an automatic response in your messaging system), in email (by sending availability response emails), calendar, and the user's status in Nextcloud. This feature sinvolves assigning responsibilities to a colleague, allowing you to share files, tasks, events and emails by accessing the profile or resources of absent staff. A pop-up notification will display providing information about your unavailability, as well as the contact details of the assigned substitute employee. These improvements not only make it easier to manage absenteeism, but also optimize collaboration and information sharing during periods of absence, improving efficiency in the work environment.
Nextcloud Hub 7 also continues to increase AI capabilities in Nextcloud Assistant, then added the ability to generate images based on text descriptions using the Stable Diffusion model, also included is a “technical preview” of Context Chat, not necessarily ready for prime time, that allows generative AI to answer questions about users' own documents, chats, and emails.
