KeePassXC It is the freest variant -and carried out by an important community of users and developers- of the popular password manager KeePassX, and has been showing significant growth in both the number of new features and their importance for a long time. The new arrival version 2.2.0 of KeePassXC is no exception and adds a tool that will undoubtedly be of great help in these times of so many login to all kinds of services, and that is a password generator has arrived.
In this Diceware type generator, that is to say, of a random type by means of a list of words generated by each one of the more than 7.700 possible combinations when rolling the dice. But we also have a TOTP generator (time-based one-time passwords, or one-time passwords validated by time), for which those who prefer to leave the work of generating passwords to these tools will have more than one weight option to do so since, among other things, Extended support for ASCII and UTF character encoding.
But it is not the only novelty but there is also support for the use of Yubikey / Yubico keys, for importing databases in CSV format and of course, being a Linux tool also for use from the command line.
