KDE Plasma 5.10 available

KDE lovers you are in luck, since the availability of KDE Plasma 5.10 has been announced as planned, a new version that comes with quite remarkable news.

The changes that are most visible to the naked eye are the changes in the interface, since the behavior of the mouse has been improved, the possibility of changing the size of the widgets present on the desktop has been added and the way in which the icons and folders are seen, as well as the access to the themselves.

However, the most notable changes have to do with the touchscreens. First, a virtual keyboard has been added to both the login screen and the lock screen. In addition to that, a system has been implemented to better adjust the desktop to the resolution of each screen, in addition to other improvements.

This has been achieved thanks to full integration of WaylandIn addition, now we can handle Snappy and Flapak packages in the Discover manager, being able to install practically the packages we want and in the way we want.

Going back to the lock screen, you now have a handy music player. In this way, if we are listening to music and the computer crashes, we can change the song without having to unlock it, making the process much faster.
