Dustwind is a real-time tactics video game that besides now It's on sale (-25% of the price) for a while. It's not specific to the Linux platform, but it can work on it thanks to Valve's Steam Play Proton. The developer of this game is Dustwind Studios, who got a good score with this release. It seems that gamers are liking it and now Linux users will also be able to play it.
A video game based on the Unity 3D graphics engine that is giving such good results, and that we remember that it is multiplatform. It was put into Early Access from November 2017 and later the full game was released on the Steam store in August 2018. However, Dustwind is still in development yet and at the moment there is no port for Linux. But as I have commented, it can be played thanks to the project mentioned in the previous paragraph.
Dustwind, for those of you not yet familiar with it, is based on a post-apocalyptic history on Earth. It already has a campaign in single-player mode that they have developed and are going to launch this year. So we will be waiting for new details and updates that arise from this project that is nearing the final official launch. At the moment, you can play this title with what you have so far and access a selection of maps built by the community.
