No surprises, like every other Friday and after v6.8, WineHQ has released a new development version of its software a few moments ago to run Windows applications on other operating systems, and that comes in handy in some cases such as when you want install Guitar Pro on Linux. What they have released today May 21 is WINE 6.9, and it is once again a launch of which only three new features stand out, to which is added the usual correction of several errors.
What WineHQ highlights in its publications is only the tip of the iceberg, or not even that. Below, which is where we find all the information, they mention that they have corrected 25 bugs and have entered a total of 316 changes. Although they are many, they are less than the 359 of last week and the more than 400 that they have ever entered. Below you have the News list that they stand out.

- WPCAP library converted to PE.
- Support for paper forms in the print spooler.
- More math functions from Musl in runtime C.
- Various bug fixes.

In the link from where we can download the binaries there is also information to add the official project repository to receive this and other future updates as soon as they are ready for systems like Ubuntu / Debian or Fedora, but there are also versions for Android and macOS .
The next development version will be WINE 6.10, and it will almost certainly arrive next Friday, June 4. Among what you will introduce, taking into account that we are still in the first development versions, the only thing we can assure you is that will come with hundreds of small improvements and corrections as usual.
