Once again, WineHQ has acted as a Swiss watch and, with the punctuality that characterizes it, has launched WINE 6.6. It is the latest development version and, like every two weeks during this phase, they are adding improvements so that within less than a year the stable version will arrive in the best possible way. Among the news that they have included in the last two weeks we have that Mono has been updated to version 6.1.1.
Regarding the changes, WineHQ mentions that they have fixed a total of 56 bugs, but the total modifications since v6.5 amounts to 320. The full list is in the release note of WINE 6.6, but the project only mentions three novelties as the most outstanding, to which a fourth is added, which is the usual error correction.

- The DWrite and DnsApi libraries have been converted to PE.

The next development version will be WINE 6.7, and it will almost certainly arrive next Friday, April 23, since the last time WineHQ changed its calendar is not remembered. Among what you will introduce, the only thing we can assure you is that will come with hundreds of small improvements and corrections as usual.
