With the launch of the first version for developers of Android 13, some details of its benefits could be known. For now, although Google does not publicly use the names of desserts since version 10, in the configuration it can be seen that it bears the name of Tiramisu

Keep in mind that these are what's new in the development version, so:
- The development version should not be installed on computers that require stability.
- The news may vary in the final version
- Icon themes for non-Google apps. In the previous version this was available only for the official apps.
- Language selection for each application. This will allow to have different languages for different applications.
- New photo and video picker to securely share items without an app needing permission to view all stored media.
- New connection mechanism to nearby devices: It is for connection to nearby devices via WiFi without the need to give permissions to detect the location.
- Android 12L UI
- 3 button navigation allows access to the wizard. It can be accessed or closed by long pressing the home key.
- Turn on flashlight with quick touchor. Double tapping on the screen.
How to test Android 13 DP1
Insisting once again that we are talking about a trial version and that it has to be installed carefully. At the moment only compatible Google Pixel phones are supported; Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 5a, Pixel 5, Pixel 4a 5G, Pixel 4a, Pixel 4, and Pixel 4 XL.
Google offers two types of Android 13 images: factory image or as an OTA file. The difference is that flashing with a factory image requires wiping all data from the phone (like a factory reset) and unlocking the bootloader like installing an alternate ROM. The other way is to load it as a manual update.
Obviously, Google is putting the batteries on privacy and probably has to do with the investigations of regulatory bodies. Hopefully there will be a future where we can choose which app store and services we want to use.
