Good old Woz respects and praises Linux

Steve Wozniak

Steve Wozniak, or Woz, is undoubtedly one of the icons of the Apple company, along with Jobs. Woz "fired" from Apple, or rather he was "fired" and despite that he carries the apple company in his heart, and it is something normal, since he helped create the myth with the first Macintosh that came out in much of this man's talent. He confesses a great admirer of Apple products and always has his opinions on the new releases of the Cupertino company, but we have also seen him rave about open source and also towards Linux.

In another article a few years ago we told you in LxA that Woz had confessed that Linux is a very robust and powerful operating system, and that even in Apple they use servers with the penguin system instead of relying on their macOS for these purposes. He also said that Sherpa, the wizard that competes with Google Now and Siri is one of the two projects that have impacted him throughout his life, a compliment to Spanish developers. Well, almost by chance I have come across the good Woz's website and there are some replies to some emails that some users sent him and the replies are not wasted.

It would be a bit stupid for me to make a short hit and stay only with the good, so instead of doing that, I leave you a link so you can see the things that are said about Linux, which as you will see are quite a lot, and also about open source software. I have to say that some users send emails a little risque or with harsh criticism towards Macs and towards Apple itself, but Woz nevertheless calmly answers with the personal opinion that each one of them deserves.

Here you have the link, is in English. Thank you Woz! Your respect deserves respect ...
