Version 4.14.1, It is considered the first stable version of the 4.14 series. x. This is due to the security policy of the kernels, which leave the first version (in this case 4.14), as unstable. This is because sometimes, small security flaws can creep in due to meeting deadlines and therefore, it is recommended not to install the first version of the series in development environments for security.

However, version .1, in this case 4.14.1, is already considered fully stable. This will allow us to enjoy this Kernel, which in addition to including a long-term support, also improves AMD memory encryption security, improved graphics card memory management and an increase in the memory limit on processors with x86 architecture.
