Community UBports has released today the sixth OTA (Over-the-Air) update of the Ubuntu Touch operating system for all supported devices.
Ubuntu Touch OTA-6 is coming for Fairphone 2, Nexus 5, OnePlus One, BQ Aquaris M10 FHD, Nexus 4, Meizu PRO 5, Meizu MX 4, BQ Aquaris E4.5 and BQ Aquaris E5 HD as an incremental OTA update -5 that arrived two months ago, changing the base system to Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus).

In Ubuntu Touch OTA-6, eMorph web browser receives support to restore browsing sessions on reboot, support for web applications to access locally stored content, support for ReCaptcha, themes for scroll bars, improved navigation between windows, as well as the ability to stop any media playback when a tab is closed.
A new Event dialog is added in the Calendar application to suggest a default calendar when long-pressing and the welcome helper is updated to automatically advance when the Enter button is pressed. OnePlus One users will have the ability to change the headphone volume during a call, better calls, and network updates.
The Ubuntu Touch OTA-6 update is here to bring us many improvements and bug fixes in various operating system applications. This release focuses on having an extra layer of stability and reliability from Ubuntu Touch, so it is recommended that all users update as soon as possible.
