Ubuntu 19.10 now available in the first Daily Build version

Ubuntu 19.10 Daily Build, specifically Ubuntu MATE

It is not being the usual way of doing things, but we have news about the next version of Ubuntu. And is that Ubuntu 19.10 begins to receive the first Daily Builds. As you can see in the screenshot that heads this article, Ubuntu MATE has already uploaded the first Daily Build of its next version, a version that will be released in October and will carry the adjective Eoan. The word "EANIMAL" means that the animal in the next version will start with E.

At the time of starting this article, only the major version of Ubuntu and Ubuntu Studio have not uploaded their first ISO images for version 19.10. In this, we remember that they are Lubuntu, Kubuntu, Ubuntu MATE, Ubuntu Kylin, Xubuntu and Ubuntu Budgie, they have already updated their section of the Daily Build with the new version. We can download the new versions from cdimage.ubuntu.com browsing their respective folders and accessing Ubuntu Version / daily-live / current.

Ubuntu 19.10 begins its development phase

You have to take into account several things: the first is that what is available right now are versions that are practically the same as Ubuntu 19.04 Disco Dingo. With this in mind, only developers should download and test this version. The second thing to keep in mind is that right now there is nothing official, something that will be a reality when Mark Shuttleworth announces the new version and tells us what will be the EANIMAL that we see now on the different web pages.

And it is that this year they are doing things differently from other years. If I remember correctly, they had never started the development phase using something like "EANIMAL". What I remember is Shuttleworth announcing the new version / name on the same day as the previous version release or the next day. This year, the launch of Disco Dingo has coincided with the Easter holidays, which could have changed the usual schedule. In any case, Ubuntu 19.10 has already published its first Daily Builds.
