PINE64 and postmarketOS have been pleased to announce that the PinePhone postmarketOS Community Edition. Since the end of last year had available one with Plasma Mobile, but the one they have presented us A few hours ago you will be using postmarketOS and it is based on Alpine Linux, but it can run different user interfaces or graphical environments, such as Plasma Mobile, MATE, GNOME or XFCE, which is joined by the old Unity8 that has recently been renamed Lomiri.

The PinePhone with postmarketOS arrives with Phosh
The graphical environment or user interface that the PinePhone will include with postmarketOS out of the box will be phosh, which is an interface based on GNOME Shell developed by Purism. The hardware will be the same as the version that they have manufactured in collaboration with UBports, but there are slight visual changes.
