Xubuntu has always been an ideal distribution for low-resource teams in addition to that despite being a flavor of Ubuntu 18.04 which no longer publishes a 32-bit version.

Xubuntu continues to support this architecture, for its part the distribution will have a 3-year support period directly from the development team and the other two remaining only major Ubuntu updates.

That said, there are some notable changes, including applications that include Xubuntu 18.0 including Atril Document Viewer, Engrampa Archive Manager mate calculator, a new Xfce PulseAudio plugin among others.
