The JingPad A1 appears in the first official video, and it seems that it will be worth the expense

JingPad A1 demonstration video

Little by little news of the tablet is coming to us that could change things a lot. I am aware that the same was said about the PineTab, but the PINE64 proposal, without anything exclusive, prevented them from betting on more powerful hardware. That's something the Jing team has done, and the jing pad a1 will have hardware that will allow you to move your JingOS with solvency.

The JingPad A1 is currently following a roadmap. After the presentation of the operating system it was the turn of the tablet, but until recently we had only seen images that could be retouched with Photosh ... GIMP. What they presented to us a few hours ago is something more than that: the first official video where we see the tablet. It is true that it is a promotional video, but the keyboard, the design and how it seems to work makes me personally think that the $ 549 that they will ask for it seem little. In fact, it is expected that VAT will have to be added to that.

The JingPad A1 will go on sale for $ 549

In the previous video you can see the tablet with its keyboard. When they take it out, we see that it has glass on the back and that it is square on the sides in the purest iPad style. We also see the power button, where they have included the fingerprint sensor. The tablet is mounted on the support and is perfectly fixed, giving the impression that what we have in hand is a small computer. On the right, which would be the bottom of the tablet, is the connector that you will use to attach to the keyboard and indicate that it is mounted.

As for its operation, the truth is that we see little. The calculator app, we see the gestures to move from one application to another, and again we think of the iPad. The good news is, if it really works like this, it will be amazing. The interesting we will see in the next few weeks when some lucky youtubers get theirs and review. It would be strange if they spoke ill of them, but we can get an idea of their real performance.

The bad thing about all this is just the opposite, that everything looks very good and the price could go up to € 650 if you have to add VAT. At that cost, we are not talking about something we can buy on a whim like the PineTab, but I am loving it. Don't you want one right now?
