Ubuntu 16.10 already has its first alpha version. This version is very early and is subject to many changes in the final version

Although we are still in the month of July, the people of Canonical already working on the next version of Ubuntu, since the first alpha versions of Ubuntu 16.10 have already been released.

Ubuntu 16.10 alpha version it is the first phase of development of this operating system, which, as we know, is scheduled to come out in October of that year (hence the name 16.10, for the year and month respectively).

At the moment, being a very preliminary version, there are not too many new features. To this day, this operating system works with Kernel 4.4 LTS, systemd 230 and the Unity 7 desktop in the standard version of Ubuntu. Other flavors of the Ubuntu 16.10 version have also come out, such as the version with the Mate desktop and Ubuntu Kylin among others.

An alpha version of an operating system is the first phase of its development, in which features of the program are beginning to be tested Let's see how they would work. This is followed by the Beta versions, the release candidates and finally the final versions.

For this reason, the alpha versions are first-time versions, with few new features and very unstable, since they are stillor no bug has been detected in the version, Since it is the first version to be released, no user has yet been able to test it to detect bugs.

For this reason, between now and October when the final version of this operating system comes out, a lot can happen. One of the planned changes es move from kernel version 4.4 LTS, to the next kernel 4.8 for this version.

As well the desks of the corresponding flavors will be changed, in addition to that of course all the bugs that appear in the following versions will be corrected.
