System76, a company that makes powerful computers, some of them with Linux operating systems, will launch a new computer next week. It will arrive under the name of Adder WS and it will do so on August 8. What makes this launch special is that it will be the company's first Linux computer to have a 4K screen, more specifically an OLED that will offer bright colors with very realistic black colors.
The 4K screen is something that System76 will use as a claim to sell its next computer but, as we will detail later, this specification may not be the most important of those that the Adder WS will bring. In fact, it will feature up to 64GB of RAM (joke: enough to run Chrome) and 8TB of storage. Here are some of the specifications of the Adder WS which System76 will release next week.
System76 Adder WS Technical Specifications

System76 classifies the Adder WS as a work station which will be available with two operating systems: Ubuntu 18.04 LTS or Pop! _OS 19.04, the operating system developed by the company, in this case based on Ubuntu 19.04. So and how we read On Softpedia, the laptop will be available starting August 8, but it won't be until Monday that the company will officially announce it. The price for which it will go on sale is unknown.
As to Pop! _OS 19.04, we can mention that it is a version based on Ubuntu 19.04 with its own image that is very attractive. If you are interested in trying it, you can download the latest version from this link.
