Capcom recently announced that they will host a two-week trial from April 23 to May 5.. During this period of time, all those interested in being able to try this title will be able to download Street Fighter V through Steam or the PlayStation store for free.
The trial version of Street Fighter V will have access to Arcade, Versus, Challenges and Training mode. The original 16-character roster will be playable, as well as DLC characters Juri, Menat, Blanka, and most importantly, Gouki (Akuma).
Arcade: Introduced in Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition, this mode allows you to relive the previous main entries in the series. If you are able to defeat all computer controlled opponents under various conditions, you can unlock more than 200 unique illustrations by various artists that can be viewed in the Gallery.
Versus: play against another local player or against the computer with different levels of difficulty.
Challenges: learn how to use each character in demos and rehearsals or see how long you can fight in Survival mode.
Training: Practice against a fictional AI as you test builds, combos, and get used to a character without the pressure of a real match.
For those who already own the game, but for some reason haven't acquired Gouki, purchasing it (or any other DLC characters) during the trial will keep the progress you've made with them while using them for free.
Street Fighter V free for two weeks
The free trial It will begin on April 23 at 1 PM PT and will be available until May 5 PT.
During this time, people who have an interest in downloading the game and own a PS4 pThey will be able to take the game from the PlayStation Store simply by clicking the button «Try free demo».
Street Fighter V will be available to play offline for everyone, but only those with a PlayStation Plus subscription will be able to access the game's online features.
As for the PC version, the trial version will only be available on Steam. PC gamers who want to try Street Fighter V can download it from the Steam client by simply clicking "Play" once the free trial is available.
The trial version includes a total of 20 playable characters, including the original roster of 16 along with four DLC characters in the form of Akuma, Blanka, Juri, and Menat.
As of April's 23, Capcom is also holding a sale on some of the most popular Street Fighter V costume packs..
The sale will include the Ryu and Chun-Li costume packs along with the Capcom costume pack, which includes crossover costumes from other Capcom games such as Monster Hunter, Devil May Cry, and Darkstalkers.
