For install the emulator on Debian, Ubuntu and derivatives, we must open a terminal and execute the following command in it:

sudo apt install stella

In the case of Arch Linux and derivatives, on a terminal we execute:

sudo pacman -S stella

In the case of Fedora and derivatives we can install the emulator with the following command:

sudo dnf instalar stella

En openSUSE we can install the emulator through OBS. Just click the button «click install»Next to your version of SUSE.

As well we can use the installers that offer us from your official website, for this we only have to download the installer to our system and type of architecture.

If you do not know what architecture your system has, you just have to execute the following command:

uname -m

And with this you will know if your system is 32 or 64 bits.

For Debian, Ubuntu and derivatives we can install the deb package with the following command:

sudo dpkg -i stella*.deb

If we have a conflict with the dependencies we execute the following command:

sudo apt-get install -f

Whereas, for Fedora, openSUSE, CentOS and derivatives we install the rpm package with the following command:

sudo rpm -i stella*.rpm

How to uninstall Stella emulator from Linux?

If for some reason you want to uninstall the emulator from your computer, You must execute the following commands depending on the distribution you have.

Debian, Ubuntu and derivatives:

sudo apt-get remove stella*

Fedora, openSUSE, CentOS and derivatives:

sudo rpm -i stella.rpm

En Arch Linux and derivatives:

sudo pacman -Rs stella
