The great customization of the Linux world allows us to see new interesting projects every day. This time we will talk about SpyRock OS, a newly created operating system focused on security and penetration.
This operating system has been developed by Andrés Montoya, a computer security expert who wanted to create his own custom GNU / Linux distribution.
SpyRock OS is an operating system based on Ubuntu (specifically Kubuntu) and as you may have guessed, it's packed with hacking and penetration tools including forensic analysis tools, Bluetooth hacking, Wireless hacking, social engineering, sniffing ... All this from its own repository that will keep updates to these applications up to date. If you want to see the complete list of applications and tools that it brings, you have it here.
This operating system will allow you to control the security of your computer systems with total precision. With SpyRock OS you can attack yourself to check security, you can check the status of your network and you can do forensic analysis among many other things.
Obviously it can also be used to attack and damage other systems, but remember that that is illegal and it is not the real function of this distribution. From Linux Adictos We are not responsible for any misuse you may give to SpyRock OS and its tools.
Without a doubt this is an interesting project and a great alternative to operating systems like Kali Linux. While it is true that it is an operating system still in its infancy, it has a lot of potential and could become one of the greats one day.
Also already working on version 2, which will be based on the Debian operating system and will completely change the aesthetics of the system.
To download this operating system, we will do it through from this link where we will have to click on download. For more info, here are the installation instructions and Official facebook page of this distro.
