Argentinean singer-songwriter, recording engineer, programmer and animated filmmaker Charlie Martinez has created the Quirinux project, a GNU / Linux distribution specially designed for all artists who want create cartoons. The distro is based on Debian 9 with a lightweight XFCE desktop environment, and on it a complete system has been developed in which all the necessary graphic animation tools are gathered so that you do not have to depend on proprietary software.

Quirinux can be downloaded for free, although it includes a paid version that includes a printed manual, a 2-year warranty and a home installation service in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
