Pathfinder: Kingmaker is an impressive role-playing video game with Linux support that we are going to present to you in LxA. The title will be released in August so you can enjoy it this summer on your preferred Linux distro (maybe a little later than the initial release…). It has been a long time since the project that would end with the sale of this video game was presented, but the good thing is to wait and in less than a month we will have our Pathfinder: Kingmaker ready to play ...
The project was financed in Kickstarter in 2017, and it has achieved good income that has allowed its developers to carry it out, with more than 18.000 interested people who have collaborated for its financing and with the aim that it also have support for Linux, which is what really interests us. So we will have to add a new role-playing video game to the list of existing ones for the penguin platform.
At the moment, Pathfinder: Kingmaker is in beta version for Windows and Mac, that is, it is still an early phase of development and that according to official announcements, a version for Linux is already being worked on and that the developers have ensured that the will present as soon as possible. Truth is, I am concerned that the initial release is only a month away and we still haven't heard from Linux beta, but it is expected that soon after it will be ready ...
When it finally arrives, be it in August or a little later, we will find some pretty decent graphics with a very interesting role-playing story and with which to share with colleagues, customizable characters with a multitude of options, insurmountable challenges, and establish a kingdom and discover new territories. All as always in the Valve store, Steam, but it will also come for others, very possibly in GOG, although confirmation is lacking.
