Paradox acquires Triumph Studios, the makers of Age of Wonders and Overlord

Paradox Interactive has announced that it has acquired the video game studios Triumph Studios, which you will know by titles such as Age of Wonders and Overlord. Lately there are some interesting movements in the world of video game developers and that some of them directly or indirectly affect the world of gaming on Linux. I hope for positive and there is no setback now that it is starting to rebound and so many years it has been in the shadows and totally forgotten by the developers ...

Sure that some take disadvantages to this new fusion, but let's try to see the good side of the union of these two greats of the video game. The interesting thing is that Paradox is pro Linux, therefore, now that it is the owner of Triumph Studios, all future titles of these could end up porting to Linux, which is great news if that finally is so. Additionally, it appears that the titles currently being developed at Triumph Studios will not be affected by the acquisition and will continue to develop.

We have already seen how Paradox has endeavored to bring your titles to Linux, and now surely it also does so with all the rights and titles in development acquired from the studios that are now in its possession. Anyway, we have already seen a Triumph Studios title for Linux, but not as much as by Paradox. That is why I consider the movement to be interesting for us.
