Recently the new version of the Tails distribution has just been released Based on Debian, this distribution has gained strength over time as it is a distribution focused on the anonymity of the user on the network.
Tails, The Amnesic Incognito Live System uses the Tor network to offer security to users with which traffic is always protected and encrypted. LThe distribution is updated to version 3.3.
Tails 3.3 is a release that is specified as important since bandwidth consumption has been reduced, thanks to Tor 0.3.1.8, the Tor 7.0.10 browser and above all the kernel is updated to Linux kernel 4.13.0-1.
Also this new version of Tails has as new features the base system has been updated to Debian Stretch 9.2, Thunderbird is also in its new version 52.4.0.
Among the problems solved in this new version we find:
- Fix UEFI support for installed USB sticks using Universal USB Installer.
- Fixed errors in file system creation in Tails Installer when target USB device is connected before starting Tails Installer.
- Fix Tails Installer on Debian sid and recent versions of udisks2.
- Fix screen reader and screen keyboard in Tor Browser and Thunderbird as well.
- Make your keyboard setup more robust when logging in.
