In addition to the so-called Next Generation Desktop Shell, NX Desktop comes based on the latest KDE Plasma 5.22.5 and that Nitrux 1.6.1 also brings all the important software packages that according to the “Debian + Plasma + Qt” principle, KDE Plasma and the free Qt GUI toolkit in particular have been updated and up-to-date.

As for Mesa 3D, which is particularly important for Linux games, they have been updated to the KDE frameworks and the KDE Gear application programs with which those users who play and who prefer a Linux distribution with fixed versions and still want an updated substructure for Steam, Wine and Proton can find the right OS here.

The focus on gamers is also clear from the fact that the developers provide relevant information on the correct use of essential packages such as Mesa and current graphics drivers in the official release notes.
