Kodi 16.1 is nothing more than a maintenance update, with minor changes that have to do with bug fixes more than anything else.

The Kodi project is pleased to announce the availability of a new version of Kodi, that is, version 16.1, which is already available so that we can download and install it on our computer.

This update is Kodi 16's first maintenance update, which didn't come out long ago. The reason for these updates is none other than to correct errors that appear, update small things and try to improve the experience of using the program.

As it is a maintenance update, neither can you expect much news, since it is not usual in this type of versions. In this case, the main novelties are the 20% performance improvement of the EPG program guide (now opens faster) and the correction of bugs related to DirectX.

Smaller issues have also been fixed, as errors that were in the Android version, the correction of some bugs that were in all versions of this program and the restoration of a library that had disappeared in version 16 and that was necessary for a correct functioning of Kodi.
