Daniel Schürmann released today Mixxx 2.3.3, the new version of this software designed for DJs. This is the third minor update of the 2.3 series, and it comes with important improvements regarding the support of the sound equipment that this professional and powerful software accepts for live mixing. In addition, it is open source and free, so it transmits a lot of trust and you will not have to pay a penny for it, since it is free.
Mixxx 2.3.3 arrives five months after the release of the second minor version, and it does so with improved support for DJ controllers and mixers well known. For example, it now works more stably with the Behringer DDM4000 mixer. It also does this with the Pioneer DDJ-SB3 DJ controller which fixed its issue with releasing the shift button in previous versions. And of course, don't forget the Traktor S3 controller either, which also gets a support upgrade, as well as the Denon MC7000 DJ which also has a bug fixed.
It has also been improved in Mixxx 2.3.3, Auto DJ function, which now has a minimum transition time of -99, no longer stops playback after a while, and no longer causes annoying skipping. On the other hand, the crossfader function when Auto DJ is disabled was reset, but now Mixxx 2.3.3 no longer makes this so annoying when working on your mixes.
Of course, those are not the only changes in Mixxx, there have been others too. bugs fixed, improvement in the library, improvements in the import and export of samplers, boxes and playlists, multiple connections are now allowed for broadcasting, spinback effect problems have been eliminated, and much more.
You already know that if you want to try Mixxx you have it in FlatPak format
