This is how MiniNo PicarOs Diego looks like, a GNU / linux operating system based on Debian exclusively for the smallest of the house
Today we have an operating system with a school flavor and a Spanish flavor, MiniNo PicarOS is a GNU / Linux operating system which is prepared and designed for use by Smaller of the house.
MiniNo PicarOS Diego is defined as a distribution for elementary school children, to whom teaches how to use computer tools in a simple and pleasant way for them. The operating system is available in Spanish, English and Galician.
The developer company is called Galpon, a Galician company is responsible for developing Linux operating systems based on Debian, intended for low-resource teams. MiniNo PicarOS Diego is one of the variants of the MiniNo Range, of which our colleagues spoke some time ago.
As we can see in the image above, MiniNo PicarOS Diego is a system with a desktop that just look at it to go back to our childhood. It has everything you need to work but is pleasant and easy to use for younger children.
I like the initiative, first of all it is a Spanish software, which shows the growth of the GNU / Linux community In our country and secondly, it can help to attract new users for Linux systems, helping the smallest ones to begin to become familiar with the Linux kernel without becoming too complicated.
In addition to being based on MiniNo, the minimum requirements are practically ridiculous, with a 1,5 Ghz processor, 512 Mb of Ram and 10 Gb of hard disk, we can take advantage of any old computer that we have at home and use it for the little ones.
To download it we will go to the GALpon official website, specifically to the MiniNo section where we can download MiniNo ChopOS Diego y also download the other variants of MiniNo, which are Artabros(MiniNo normal) and alguadaira(for very low resources).

Sorry I need help with my linux, what happens is that I install kali linux on my pc that already came by default with windows 8 I want to keep both operating systems but it does not appear with which operating system to start and I would like to know a way to do it, I tried Many, and nothing has been successful due to the UEFI system that my machine has, can someone help me?
I've had quite a bit of trouble getting it to work in VirtualBox. in specific after being installed at the time of restart does not load the system.
It would help me enormously if there was a tutorial on the installation of this one.
In VirtualBox, go to machine configuration and in SYSTEM - PROCESSOR activate PAE. and start it up again.
I would like a list of linux projects in Spanish, to be able to say that there is a better distribution in our language. Very good is report.
I loved it.
