In fact, at the Microsoft Inside Xbox event, Microsoft introduced Forza Horizon 4, a racing game, that se streams from Azure data centers from the company to an Android smartphone.

An Xbox One controller has been connected to the phone via Bluetooth, which shows how easy it will be to stream games from the cloud to mobile devices, in accordance with the promise made by the company last October.

“One of the great developments in the entertainment industry in the last decade is the ease with which it has become simple to read, listen to or watch your digital content (often streaming).

"We have seen that it has revolutionized the way people experience music and video, allowing them to immerse themselves in the place they want and the right device for them right now."

Microsoft is inspired by this and prepares to offer another option to enjoy video gamess.

But it's not about Microsoft replacing consoles with xCloud, Choudhry said on his blog.

"We are developing Project xCloud not to replace game consoles, but to offer the same choice and versatility as today's music and video enthusiasts," he said. “We are adding more ways to play Xbox games. «

Video game streaming still has a big challenge, that of latency. However, the Internet giant did not hesitate to address it last October with the beta version of Project Stream.

Which Google has billed as "a technical test to solve some of the biggest challenges in streaming."

The particularity of Google's cloud gaming solution would be to give the opportunity to play the stream directly in Chrome.

Google is expected to introduce its own game controller at the same time as the Project Stream service.
