It was born from the union of LXDE and Razor-qt, and LXQt 0.16.0 has arrived to continue the good work they introduced last spring. LXQt 0.16.0 is now officially available, but as of this writing it is only in code form. Interested users can download it from this o this other link to perform manual installation. In the coming weeks, the operating systems that use this desktop will start adding the new version as an update, as long as their philosophy allows it. On operating systems like Lubuntu, you will have to wait at least until the Lubuntu 21.04 Hirsute Hippo release that will take place on April 22, 2021.
