The video game preservation platform is open source and in its new version it comes with more opportunities and in a more polished way. This app is compatible with Linux, free and can be a fantastic option to help you manage all your video games centrally, both those of Wine, such as those of Steam, GOG, Humble Store, etc.
Lutris 0.5.10 Beta 1 arrives with many persistent bugs that have been fixed, but also with new features on the table:
- New window to add games to Lutris by searching from a website or from a directory (installers, scripts,…).
- A cover format has been added.
- Integration with EA Origin for more content.
- Integration also of Ubisoft Connect.
- Missing media download at startup.
- Winesteam is removed, the Steam client for Windows will be installed instead.
- Now PC games, both Windows and Linux, have their own dedicated shader cache on NVIDIA GPUs.
- Add the dgvoodoo2 option, for older games.
- There is also the option to enable BattleEye anti-cheat support.
