LibreOffice 7.5.3, the third point update in this series, fixes another hundred bugs

LibreOffice 7.5.3

A few minutes ago, my colleague Diego has published an article in which he tells us about the beta of an office suite, in this case Softmaker Office 2024 and in beta. As a Linux user at +90% of the time, I would like everyone to use the same office suite, and the best free and multiplatform option is The Document Foundation's proposal. But hey, the different options exist for a reason, and now it's my turn to talk about a release, that of LibreOffice 7.5.3.

Unlike Softmaker Office with next year in its name, LibreOffice 7.5.3 is a stable release that has come to fix bugs. In total, 119 patches have been applied, and the release note, or the new features that have been included in this point update, are included in the release notes RC1 (95 bugs) and the RC2 (24 bugs). The new functions are reserved for the change of the first decimal or the second number, whatever you prefer to call it.

LibreOffice 7.5.3 is the version with all the new features

As always after a LO release, say that LibreOffice 7.5.3 is what would be in what is called the "fresh" channel, which translated into more understandable language is the version that includes all the news, but that everything is " cool". This also means that fewer problems have been fixed than in the "still" version, currently in the v7.4.6 which is recommended for production teams. It's not that the 7.5 series is bad, it's that 7.4 has received more patches, and it's part of The Document Foundation's philosophy to offer these two Community versions. In addition to the community edition, there is also one for companies (Enterprise), but this is a special option for those who need direct support from the company and also enjoy on-demand options.

LibreOffice 7.5.3 can now be downloaded since official website in DEB, RPM packages. He snap pack it's already updated, but not the flatpak. In the next few days it will appear on Linux distributions whose choice is the newest version.

I have been using Libre Office for a long time. At home under Linux Mint, and at work under Windows 10. I am very happy and would never use Microsoft Office again.
