LibreOffice 7.1.2 Community Edition fixes more than 60 bugs

LibreOffice 7.1.2

I don't know if we're going to have to get used to adding to the community edition tag every time we refer to the most popular free office suite, but that's what The Document Foundation is doing. The project, less than a month after the previous version, has announced the launch of LibreOffice 7.1.2 Community Edition. And we have to remember that it now offers an option for companies with improved support, which also includes personalized functions, as long as they choose the Enterprise option and pay for the subscription.

Tagged Community Edition or not, LibreOffice 7.1.2 is the second maintenance update in this series that has arrived for correct more than 60 bugs distributed throughout the entire set of applications, which are Writer, Calc, Draw, Impress Math and Base. What has been sought has been to make the suite more reliable and stable so that we can work with greater peace of mind, something necessary in the more advanced option because it is less proven.

LibreOffice 7.1.2 is an update to polish the suite

The Document Foundation has always offered two options: one with all the news for those of us who want everything as soon as possible and another with more corrections for those who need to work smoothly. For the last, or more specifically for production teams, the project continues to recommend LibreOffice 7.0.5, released on March 12.

LibreOffice 7.1.2 It is now available from the developer's official website, which we can access from this link. From there, Linux users can download the suite in DEB packages, RPM or its code, but personally I would recommend waiting for the update to appear in the software center or, in Debian / Ubuntu based distributions, add your repository with this command :

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:libreoffice

Later we write sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade to update the repositories and install the new packages.
